Food Fair Offers True Taste of Malibu

• Local Products Take Center Stage at Annual Event

PC Greens continues to add to the list of vendors that will be participating in this year’s “Taste of PC Greens” food fair, on Oct. 13.
Malibu vendors this year include Malibu Organic Lemon, Malibu Olive Oil, Malibu Honey, Zorica of Malibu and Shidan Naturals skincare products, fresh organic produce pro- vided by One Gun Ranch, succulent herbs and heirloom tomatoes and pep- pers from Richards Ranch and creamy homemade ice cream from Malibu-made Beachy Cream.
Other products that will be available for sampling include organic teas and coffees, pastries and
breads, vegetables and fruit, free-range beef and chicken, and a wide range of health and beauty products.
“There will be samples and product demonstrations throughout the store,” PC Greens owner Michael Osterman told the Malibu Surfside News.
“PC Greens is dedicated to organic, local and natural in all departments of the store,” Osterman told The News. “We've been here for 19 years. We're family owned and operated, our children grew up here, went to school here, we've all worked in the store. I’m    here seven days a week.
“The Taste of PC Greens food fair that we hold every year is a great opportunity for people to try something new,” Osterman said.
The event offers an opportunity for customers not only to sample new products but to learn tips on how to use products, and enjoy demonstrations and recipes for healthy living.
Other highlights this year include a petting zoo provided by One Gun Ranch and a drawing for a free Kindle HD Fire.
The Taste of PC Greens food fair takes place on Saturday, Oct. 13, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at PC Greens, 22601 PCH. FI: 310-456- 8606.
